The Forty Rules of Love Novel Review l Recommended By Imran Khan

Read Elif Shafak for the first time by 40 Rules of Love. The theme and plot of the story are excellent. This was my First time Reading literary fiction.

The Forty Rules of Love is a novel written by Turkish author Elif Shafak, It is about Maulana Jalal-Ud-Din, known as Rumi and his companion Shams Tabrizi. This book shows how Shams transformed a scholar into a Sufi (mystic) through love.

➡️The interest it evokes at start of the Novel is beautifully balanced throughout the Read (It makes it super smooth). The entire novel is Depicted in First person narrative (I find it easy to Read).
Till this Day it is my Favorite Read for sure..💯

Coming towards the Review👀..
In a sense, The Forty Rules of Love is about the transformative power of reading, as it is a novel—Sweet Blasphemy—that begins to change Ella's life..
So, The entire story of the book is all about Ella, a homemaker at her 40, living with her well off husband and three grown up children in Northampton, England and Aziz Z Zahara, a Sufi living in Norway, their relationship and the passionate love which happens during in the year 2008 is itself a metaphor drawing similitude to the lives of Rumi and Shams of Thabriz, happened during 1245 in Turkey and Central Asia. At the end, just like silkworm has to lose its life to produce great quality silk, Shams lost his life for the aggrandization of Rumi as a greatest poet on earth, we see the author draw parallel to the lives of Ella and Aziz. So the author actually took two love stories side by side..
Ella and Aziz which is a normal life love story and Shams of Tabriz and Rumi which is Sufism molded in love💕

➡️QOTD: Tell me If you Read Sufism and If you believe in Divine Love?
Before Rumi became a world-famous poet and Sufi mystic, a religious scholar named Jalal ad-Din Rumi struggled with a feeling of inexplicable emptiness. Despite his thousands of admirers and disciples, Rumi felt something was missing in his life and that's where Shams enter his Life and there begins the Journey of Love and Sufism🔥

The Book is full of aphorisms of love, life, mysticism worth quoting. There are 40 exact rules stated in the Book.

Much Love❤
